We are based in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, which is easily accessible by train, tram, bus and car.

  • from the city centre?

    New Street station: 19 minute walk / 5 minute drive. Snow Hill station: 14 minute walk / 4 minute drive. Moor Street station: 25 minute walk / 10 minute drive. Taxis are readily available outside all stations.

  • by train or tram?

    The Jewellery Quarter train and tram station is just a 8 minute walk from the studio. The trains cover a lot of the West Midlands. The West Midland Metro operates between New Street station and Wolverhampton.

  • by bus?

    The Jewellery Quarter is accessible from the city centre via the following NX Bus routes – 8A, 8C and 101 (stops closest to Warstone Lane) also the 16, 74 buses (stops on Great Hampton Street).

  • by car?

    The Jewellery Quarter is well-signposted from the city centre via the brown tourist signs. From the north-west / north-east – take the M6 or M1. From the south-west / south-east – take the M40 or M5.

Studio information

  • Is there parking?

    There are many pay & display spaces around the studio. We recommend parking on Frederick Street, Albion Street or Graham Street.

    Charging hours are Monday to Saturday - 8am to 6pm. Prices can be found here.

  • is the studio soundproof?

    No our studio is not soundproof. We are located inside of a larger building, so from time to time there could be some noise that is beyond our control.

  • how do i get into the studio?

    Please check your confirmation and reminder emails for information on how to access the studio.

  • is the studio accessible?

    Yes, the studio is fully accessible with lift access.

  • will someone be there during the day?

    Our office is located in the same building as the studio, so there will always be someone there during your booking.

    You are welcome to give us a call if you need any help while you are here.

    If you are visiting us for the first time, then we will run through everything with you and show you around the studio beforehand.

Other questions

  • Is there anywhere to eat closeby?

    There are many places to grab a quick bite during your studio session including, Greggs, Subway, Costa and Tesco Express. As well as lots of local cafes and shops.

    There are also good options on Deliveroo and Uber Eats as we are close to the city centre.

  • is there natural light?

    We have lots of natural light in the studio we have a wall full of large windows.

    Our windows are south west facing, and we get direct sunlight from around midday to just before sunset.

  • how do i pay?

    All bookings are done through our website only. This is the easiest method so that you can fully see our availability and plan accordingly.

  • can i extend my booking?

    Yes you can extend your booking by one hour or more if you need to and if the space is available.

    Please let us know during your booking if this is something you require, and we will check availability for you.

  • what equipment is included?

    Included with your booking is:

    Black, white and nude 2.7m wide backdrops

    Flash triggers for Sony, Canon and Nikon cameras

    2 x flash strobe lights with 95cm octabox modifier

    2 x continuous LED video lights with 41cm square softbox modifier

    1 x continuous 48cm LED ring light

  • how big is the studio?

    The studio is 100sqm / 1085sqft.

  • do you have a changing room?

    Yes, we have two changing rooms with full length mirrors.

  • do you have fans and heating?

    We radiators and two hot and cold fans.
